Acer has announced the Indian release of two new home desktop PCs, named Aspire IE-3216 and Aspire IE-3460.
While, Acer Aspire IE-3216 is powered by Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2160 that runs at the speed of 1.8 GHz, the Acer Aspire IE-3460 gets its energy from Intel Core 2 Duo Desktop Processor E4600 at 2.4 GHz speed rate.
Both these computers come bundled with a 19-inch TFT screen and speakers. The other common features include 1 GB RAM DDR2 which can be enhanced to 2GB for enhanced performance with a 160GB SATA Hard Disk Drive @ 7200 RPM, and 16X DVD-R/W Super-Multi Drive for viewing and burning of DVDs, listening to music and storing huge amounts of data.
Data transfer from one device to the PC is a new trend, which is not easily forgettable. Due to which, Acer has integrated 8 elegant USB Ports (4 at the Top which is unique to Acer and 4 at the rear). The included Neon LED lighting (in front) makes sure of superior convenience. These models work accurately with a wide range of other I/O devices.

Additionally, the Aspire desktops are also packed with Super Slim keyboard with Soft-Touch keys and blue LED lighting along with 17 Hotkeys and a Volume Knob.
Packed with an Education CD Pack and New Creative Stereo Speakers, Aspire IE-3460 and Aspire IE-3216 carry a price tag of Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 22,999 (plus taxes) respectively along with a 1-year onsite warranty.
