Dish TV has announced ‘DishTV on computer’. A special set top box, which can be connected to a desktop PC. The new dish TV device helps users to switch between a computer and Live TV.
‘DishTV on computer’ allows users to watch TV channels on the desktop; they can choose from 171 channels. Besides, the Dish TV offers value added services, active features, gaming, etc.
Dish TV says that the device is ideal for users who would want to use desktops for computing solution and TV entertainment alternatively.
Jawahar Goel who is the managing director of Dish TV stated, “Enriched with all dishtv content and value-added-services, it will provide customers with digital TV watching experience while working on computer, at the click of a button.â€
Dish TV is planning to launch ‘DishTV on computer’ in selected cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. It is priced at Rs 4,150, inclusive of installation and taxes.
