Bell and Novatel Wireless launch Ovation U760 USB modem
Bell and Novatel Wireless have introduced the Ovation U760 USB modem exclusively in Canada. The device claims to provide wireless Internet access to users on the go.
Designed specifically for laptops, the modem delivers access to Bell’s high-speed 3G mobile network. Claiming to be the smallest EVDO modem, the device weighs less than an ounce and measures only two inches in length.

The modem encapsulates a microSD and is capable of storing up to 8GB of data. Users can also store video and music files on a SD storage card. Apart from being compatible with desktops and notebooks having type A USB ports, this modem works perfectly fine with Microsoft XP, Microsoft Vista, Mac or Linux operating systems. The advanced internal dual band antenna system provides a diverse and enhanced performance in the network fringe areas.
The Novatel Wireless Ovation U760 USB modem will be available for free on signing a two year contract. The modem will also be available without a contract for $174.95 (approx. Rs.8,520).
