Wi-Fi Computer for Preschool Kids
Leapfrogs, an education specialist, has introduced a new computing device for kids ranging from 3-6 yrs of age. It is called the ‘ClickStart My First Computer’.

The system features a “child-friendly” wireless keyboard with big buttons, a console and a mouse. The mouse can be used by both left and right-handed people. It’s console carries some built-in games and activities.
The owner can also purchase additional software with the device, which can be plugged-in to the top of the console. The console can also be plugged into the TV.
The dog-shaped computer requires eight batteries: four AA batteries for the keyboard and four C’s for the base, which can also work with an optional AC adapter.
Kids are guided by a Scout, a friendly green puppy, to navigate, use the mouse, count, say ABCs, phonic skills, simple math, shapes and colors.
Moreover, kids are also provided with an in-box click button that enables to get a greeting-card, style e-mail, complete with sound for non-readers.
It’s a lovely attempt to bridge the mature computing experience with a simple electronic teaching tool. So, now preschool children can learn from their own personal computer.
LeapFrog’s ClickStart My First Computer will cost around $60. If you require a separate character-branded cartridge library, it will cost you $20 more.
