Sony Ericsson unveils MH907 Motion Activated Headphones

Technology manufacturers are racing to chisel down the literal interpretation of ‘hands free’ to just that. That means technology which intuitively senses user needs. Sony Ericsson’s MH907 headphones built with their very own SensMe Control technology now appear to serve this very purpose.
Users can listen to music by plugging in both earphones and remove one earphone to pause. Calls can be picked up and disconnected whilst using the headphones in the same manner.
It is compatible with most Sony Ericsson phones and is available in white and yellow with a smooth titan chrome finish. It has a length of 164cm and weighs 25.32g. The headphones also feature the Clear Audio function to enhance audio quality.
“With the MH907 consumers can pocket their phone but still stay connected all day, every day by simply plugging in or removing their earbuds – there is no need for a remote control or any buttons,” declared Jacob Sten, Senior Vice President, SEMC Accessories. “At Sony Ericsson we think it is very important to listen to what our customer needs and introducing the world’s first ever motion activated headphones highlights our commitment to offer our customers a complete Communications Entertainment experience. The MH907 supports our realigned brand strategy, which aims to build a fun, playful and inclusive interaction with consumers.”
A funny animated film, created by well-known animator Kristofer Strom demonstrating the product’s functionality can be viewed at the company’s website. It has a cartoon character traveling in a bus, while switching smoothly between phone calls and music.
The price of the product is still under wraps.
