Super Talent SuperSpeed USB 3.0 RAIDDrive unveiled

Super Talent Technology has unveiled its latest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 RAIDDrive. This drive is said to deliver transfer speeds up to ten times faster than USB 2.0 drives. The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 claims to be the world’s first USB 3.0 drive.
This new drive will be offered in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. Moreover, the drive is fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports. But using this drive with a USB 2.0 port will reduce the speed that the drive promises to offer. The USB 3.0 RAIDDrive utilizes patented multiple pairs of differential serial data lines technology that claims to provide optimal NAND flash performance.
“This product underscores Super Talent’s continued leadership in USB drives.” said Super Talent COO, C.H. Lee. “We’ve developed the world’s first mobile USB 3.0 flash drive. It delivers phenomenal performance and it incorporates our own patented technology”.
Measuring 95mm x 37mm x 13 mm, the SuperSpeed drive is completely portable. It directly plugs into any USB port. This Super Talent drive will offer transfer speeds of up to 200MB/sec only with USB 3.0 ports.
The Super Talent SuperSpeed USB 3.0 RAIDDrive will be made available worldwide from December this year. The pricing details of the drive are still under wraps.
