Lava Iris Fuel 50 packs a massive battery and costs under Rs 8K

Lava Mobiles has outed a new smartphone, the Iris Fuel 50, which comes after a trio of tablet launched over the month. The device is an affordable Android 4.4 KitKat release, but not an ordinary one as it comes with a massive battery which is much needed in handsets these days.

The phone comes bundled with a 3000mAh cell that’s capable of delivering up to 17 hours of talk time on 2G or 13 hours of calling when on 3G. Standby time is estimated at around 370 and 360 hours, respectively. The Lava Iris Fuel 50 will be the first in the new series, but it isn’t alone in the market as other OEMs have also revealed devices with large batteries.
