Kobian Mercury mTab Neo 3G tablet released in India

The latest addition to Kobian’s tablet portfolio, the Mercury mTab Neo is the first from the company to boast of integrated 3G capabilities. Although the previously released slates like the Mercury mTab and mTab2 support 3G network speeds, they require an external dongle for the same.
The Android based tablet lets users multitask with the help of a dual core processor that clocks in a speed of 1GHz. It sports a 7-inch capacitive HD multi-touch screen as well as dual cameras capable of recording videos. The 2MP rear facing snapper is accompanied by a 0.3MP front facing webcam, allowing users to engage in video conferencing over the internet.
“mTab Neo summarizes convergence and convenience. The product combines functionality of two devices and makes the experience and usage more convenient and friendly. At Mercury, we strive to bring products with new ideas and make technology simpler and affordable for all. SIM calling, Bluetooth, in-built 3G, dual camera and overall a strong processor and battery pack up – it’s a complete package needed in the growing market of tablets,” quoted Sushmita Das, Country Manager – India, Kobian.

The SIM support of the tab facilitates voice calling, while the built-in 3G support ensures speedy internet access on the move. Besides 3G, the Mercury device provides wireless communication options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Featuring a 4000mAh battery, it comes with a miniUSB port, an HDMI connector and an expansion slot that is compliant with microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity.
The Kobian Mercury mTab Neo price is Rs. 15,999. Backed by a one year warranty, it is now available ex-stock across the country.
