ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 goes up for pre-order via Clove

A Google Android slab dubbed ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 has been released for users who do not have ‘plenty of cash to spend on the current king of the tablet world’, the iPad, hints the official Clove blog. The tab claims to offer a blend of performance and reliability at an affordable price that suits the pocket.
This ZTE tablet based on the Android Gingerbread platform, is integrated with the 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor and 512MB RAM. Measuring 202 x 122 x 12.6 millimeters, it flaunts a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display of 1024 x 600p resolution. The slate is armed with a 3.2MP rear facing camera that should record videos as well as a 0.3MP front facing webcam to facilitate video conferencing over the internet.
The 4GB internal memory of this slab can be expanded with the aid of a microSDHC card of up to 32GB capacity. Along with Wi-Fi, it also lends support to 3G network speeds which should allow users to experience faster web browsing, while the built-in GPS navigation helps in finding their way when on foot or in a vehicle. The Bluetooth enabled ZTE device draws power from a 3400mAh battery that is said to cough up enough juice to fulfill most daily needs.

Connections to various peripherals and systems are established through the microUSB port. Needless to say, users can access thousands of applications from the Android Market. Additionally, it tags along most Google Mobile services such as YouTube, Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps and many more.
The ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 price is tagged at £234.99 (approx. Rs. 18,190), including taxes. It is up for pre-order and is slated to start shipping before the end of February.
