Magnus Magnetic Stand for iPad 2 revealed, sets sail next week

The market seems to be flooded with accessories aiming to complement the Apple tablet and following close on the heels of the recently unveiled iConvert scanner for iPad is the freshly disclosed Magnus Magnetic Stand for iPad 2. As the name suggests, it is basically a stand possessing magnetic properties on which users can prop up the slab.
Created by Ten One Design, this stand is almost invisible from the front and boasts of a sleek aluminum form factor. The company claims that its neat, no-fuss and low-profile design makes this accessory apt for usage in high-end workplaces. This portable device does not clutter the surroundings and accommodates the Apple tablet firmly in place with its strong magnetic grip. It has to be employed in the horizontal landscape mode and users can place the iPad 2 without any protective outer case covering the tablet.

With this new creation, users are allowed to sit back and view movies or TV shows in a relaxed manner by placing the iPad 2 on the stand. They do not need to crouch in uncomfortable positions to see the multimedia content, as is generally the case with tablets. Machine-crafted from pure aluminum, it has also been constructed with nickel-plated neodymium, recyclable plastics, recyclable carton and PET-coated paper fiber. The accessory’s base has been integrated with customized magnets while the bottom surface sports rubberized feet.
The Magnus Magnetic Stand for iPad 2 price is tagged at $50 and it is now available for pre-order online at TenOneDesign.com. The Apple tablet accessory is scheduled to commence shipping from next week.
