Zync Z-990 plus tablet lands in India

The Zync Z-990 plus tablet enters India with enhanced features and some nifty upgrades. Apart from calling itself ultra-portable, the gadget lays claim to delivering ‘symmetrical multiprocessing’ abilities and ‘real time multitasking.’

The device draws the energy to juggle with various tasks from a 1.5GHz processor clubbed with the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Hooked up with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory, it supports memory expandability up to 32GB. The 7-inch glossy display is bundled in with a G-sensor and Mali 400 graphics processor to deliver a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The frame bears a 0.3MP snapper for video conferencing. Furthermore, the Zync Z-990 plus supports USB 2.0, micro-USB and HDMI ports.

Zync has partnered with BigFlix to deliver a one month movie on demand free subscription. The dedicated application offers subscribers a host of movie options ranging across all genres. The company has also tied up with Ibibo. The pre-loaded app provides Android based social and multiplayer games free of charge. Additionally, the gadget also renders support to a USB 3G dongle, along with Wi-Fi connectivity. The tablet is powered by a 3600mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery. The onboard audio features include stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack for plugging in headphones.

The Zync Z-990 plus price in India is scratched at Rs. 6,400. It can be purchased via Balaji retail stores throughout the country. It is also up for grabs at various online outlets.
