After the Meep! tablet, kids are in for another treat with the 7-incher Archos Child Pad that also offers a generous scoop of Ice Cream Sandwich. Besides the full tablet experience, it claims to score high points for the fun factor while ensuring safe functionality.
The Android based tablet boasts of a compact and lightweight form factor to suit the young ones. It is fueled by a 1GHz processor along with 1GB RAM. The manufacturers have integrated the Kids App Store powered by AppsLib, featuring over 10,000 applications in 14 different categories. It boasts of a kid-friendly user interface complete with colored icons, instant access to games, puzzles and more.

The Archos Child Pad release date and price details have been disclosed. Its recommended retail price is $129 (approx. Rs. 6,390) and it will go up for sale through authorized retailers by the end of this month.
