Android-powered Binatone ReadMe Mobile eBook reader features color screen

Binatone Logo Binatone has introduced the ReadMe Mobile which claims to be the first eBook reader to feature a 7-inch multitouch color screen along with a QWERTY keypad. This extremely portable Android-powered reader is Wi-Fi capable and also employs a web browser.

Along with the basic attribute of eBook reader, this device is fitted with a 7-inch color touchscreen of resolution 800 x 480. Its web browsing capabilities allow access to e-mails and its built-in QWERTY keypad is accompanied with highly sensitive navigation keys to support gestures.

Equipped with Google Android operating system, the black and white colored eBook reader comes with an internal memory of 2GB. The ultra-slim device supports Wi-Fi and is powered by lithium-ion battery. This rechargeable battery gives it a power life of about six hours. It also incorporates a web browser to allow users to access internet and emails.

Moreover, the Binatone ReadMe also integrates music and video players in addition to an image viewer. The file types supported by it are inclusive of txt, pdf, html, e-book, open reader and more. This DRM-compatible reader also facilitates bookmarks. Further, it allows connecting various devices through a USB 2.0 port and is embedded with a slot for SD memory cards.

The Binatone ReadMe Mobile eBook reader is priced at £129.99 (approx. Rs. 9433). Though, its availability details have not been mentioned.
