The arrival date of the ExoPC slate seems to have delayed way longer than expected. Nevertheless, Microsoft Store has finally put up this Windows 7-powered tablet for pre-order for the U.S. market. The 11.6” device displays crystal clear images and videos on its high-definition BrightView touchscreen with fingerprint-resistant coating.

The tablet PC comes with an Intel Atom N450 processor and is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium. With 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory, it features 64GB solid state drive. For seamless video calling facilities, the device sports an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam and 802.11b/g/n wireless.

On the connectivity front, the ExoPC subsumes two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack, a microphone input, a mini HDMI slot, and one SDHC memory card reader. Using the Realtek High Definition Audio, it delivers enhanced acoustics through the two built-in 1.5W speakers. Decked in black, the tablet measures 11.6” x 7.7” x 0.55” and tips the scale at 0.94kg. Furthermore, its lithium-ion battery ensures an operation time of up to four hours.

The ExoPC can now be pre-ordered for $699 (approx Rs. 31,720) through the Microsoft Online Store.
