LACS carves new pocket-sized Magnum tablet

Technological advancements have successfully packed in enhanced features into the native telephone to give it a trimmed down look of a ‘smartphone’. Slicing the size of a tablet while retaining its functions, LACS has now rolled out its new pocket device dubbed Magnum. Users can easily read e-books, browse the Internet, or watch movies on this latest tablet.
The company has slated to launch a 10.9cms or 12.7cms resistive touchscreen Magnum tablet that couple with users’ existing phone via Bluetooth and synchronize their mobile phonebook. It uses the handset’s FM Transmitter to don the mask of a hands-free unit. The stylish device allows users to access their Word, Excel, PDF and PPT documents for reading as well as subsumes a Word Pad writer. Along with multitasking attributes, the mini pocket PC also comes with a navigator featuring multi-lingual voice support.
Paving its way in a single spindle design, the tablet employs WIS Technology for an exceptional view of movies and videos. Weighting just 152 or 196 grams, users can simple carry the device in their bags without any worries. Players will also be busy while on the move with its several games.
Storing content has been made possible by inserting a microSD card in addition to the device’s internal memory of 2GB. Drenched in vivid colors of piano white, UV-red, UV-black, UV-blue and UV-grey, this tablet includes calculator, calendar, alarm, stop watch, torch light and files back-up.
However, the pricing and availability details of the Magnum tablet are foggy for now.
