Trimble Yuma rugged tablet PC introduced

Trimble Yuma Tablet PC Trimble has a new addition to its range of rugged devices in the form of Yuma, a tablet PC designed for outdoor environment, reported by Electronista.

Powered by a 1.6GHz Atom processor, you will not have to strain your eyes the next time you are outdoors as this tablet PC is sunlight readable.

Sporting a 7-inch sunlight readable touchscreen display, some of its key features include 32 GB solid state hard drive, two integrated cameras, ExpressCard slot, SDIO slot and weighs about 2.6 lb. with standard batteries.

The tablet also features integrated GPS, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 and it operates in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. You can transfer data in real time and initiate VOIP communications.

The Yuma meets the stringent MIL-STD-810F standards. Though the pricing is yet to be announced, the Yuma rugged table PC is expected to hit the shelves by April.
