The next generation lineup of WD My Passport portable hard drives can deliver up to 2TB of space. The storage solution supports software like WD SmartWare and Security for password protection and backup purposes.
The outer shell of the offering is designed to be resistant to scratches and blemishes or fingerprints. It also features USB 3.0 connectivity along with USB 2.0 support. Notably, the peripheral is easily customizable, which means users can employ it as per their needs. The flexibility is offered in terms of the manageable content and its use with or without the bundled software.

The WD My Passport hard drive will obviously be able hoard a whole lot of photos, videos, music and other forms of content, given its 2TB memory capacity. Moreover, its pocket-friendly and lightweight form factor makes it conveniently portable. Available in 5 color options namely silver, blue, red, black and white, the drive is available in memory capacities of 500GB, 750GB, 1TB and 1.5TB too.
The company has already revealed the WD My Passport price and availability details. The 500GB and 750GB hard drives price tags read at $129.99 (approx. Rs. 6,570) and $149.99 approx. (Rs. 7,580), correspondingly. The 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB peripherals carry prices of $179.99 (approx. Rs. 9,100), $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,100) and $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,640), in that order.
