Verizon plays out slotRadio+ microSD card for BlackBerry smartphones
Music lovers will be cheering for the latest offering by Verizon Wireless – if they own a BlackBerry smartphone provided by the telecom service company. Their new SanDisk-devised slotRadio+ microSD card for BlackBerry handsets combines 1,000 songs and 4GB of flash storage capacity.
The cards will be compatible with BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry Pearl 8130, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Tour 9630 and BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphones. They are designed to unleash the handsets’ music potential optimally. The extra memory space will allow users to store content like pictures, music or videos and transfer them to their PCs.
The slotRadio+ card can be activated by users once they insert the card into their phone and download the slotRadio+ application from the website provided. Customers can connect to V Cast Music while listening to selected playlists on the card to purchase full tracks, ringtones and ringback tones apart from other titles on V Cast Music.
The Billboard Hits version of the slotRadio+ card features music by today’s top artists in modern rock, dance, hip hop, Latin, and country music. The Billboard Decades version has songs from the ’80s, the ’90s, classic rock and oldies. They are out at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores as also the company’s online store.
