Toshiba graces the Indian market with Canvio Portable Hard Drive
A few days back, we reported on Toshiba rolling out its new Canvio external HDD for Mac PCs and MacBooks. Now, Toshiba has announced the availability of its Canvio portable hard drive lineup in India. Huge storage capacities up to 1TB are offered in the entire Canvio portfolio.
The compact hard drive weighs less than 170 grams and is an ideal backup solution. Users can easily take backup of their data with a simple plug-and-play operation. It boasts of a very simple set up process with the capability of automatically and frequently performing back up of a computer while it is in operation.
Canvio comes equipped with Windows-based NTI BackupNow EZ software which is upgraded with search capabilities and step-by-step restore functionality to retrieve lost files. It also provides users with comprehensive customizable backup options, an ability to overwrite specific original files, and advanced restore functionalities.
Even if the Windows operating system of a computer is unable to start, the storage solution proffers a choice for complete system backup which lets users restore selected files or the entire computer. The drive can be powered by USB rendering enhanced portability.
Toshiba Canvio is dressed in raven black, vivid white, satin silver, liquid blue, and rocket red shades. The storage solution is available through Rashi Peripherals across India in different densities like 320GB for Rs. 3,780, 500GB for Rs. 5,130, and 1TB for Rs. 11,070.
