Corsair expands its Flash Survivor USB flash drives range with the inclusion of new 32GB and 64GB Flash SurvivorGTR USB flash drives. These drives claim to be at par with the fastest and rugged flash drives available.

With quad-channel technology similar to the Flash Voyager GTR, the Flash Survivor GTR USB drives offer read speeds up to 34MB/sec and write speeds of up to 28MB/sec. Also, the tests conducted in the Corsair Labs ensure that the GTR architecture produces substantial performance gains over the typical high capacity flash drives.

“Corsair’s Flash Survivor drives are considered by many to be the most rugged USB drives in the world, and with the new Flash Survivor GTR series, we have created exceptionally fast, durable USB drives,” said Jim Carlton, VP of Marketing at Corsair. “Flash Survivor GTR drives are ideal for enthusiasts and creative professionals who need rapid access their portable music, videos and important data, without the worry that data could be lost due to physical damage or the elements.”

Along with ultra-high performance, Flash Survivor GTR drives offer utmost durability while each drive has been enclosed by an aircraft-grade aluminum shell. The device offers resistance to shock and water up to 200 meters. Apparently, Flash Survivor drives can withstand drops, hammer battering, baking, boiling, and more.

Corsair’s 32GB and 64GB Flash Survivor GTR drives will be made available through Corsair’s worldwide channel of authorized resellers and distributors. Also included is 10 years of warranty along with customer service and technical support.
