Kingmax deals out Class 10 SDHC waterproof memory cards

Kingmax Class 10 SDHC CardsAs cameras capable of recording high quality content become increasingly popular, the need for storage cards that meet such demands swell to significant proportions accordingly. Kingmax has played out their Class 10 SDHC cards in capacities of up to 32GB which boast of being waterproof and halogen/PFOS/PFOA-free.

These cards are touted to offer writing speeds of more than 20MB/s which allows for continuous shooting without the need for an SLR camera. The 32mm x 24mm x 2.1mm cards comply with SD 2.0 standards and are offered in capacities of 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

The 32GB card accommodates full HD 1920 x 1080p picture quality shot in AVCHD recording format. It is capable of storing approximately 160 minutes of HD movies or 2,500 images shot in RAW3 format.

Kingmax’s latest offerings are endowed with PIP technology, are dustproof and meet IEC 60529, IPX8 waterproof certification standards. They lend support to CPRM, integrate in-built ECC and boast of RoHS, CE, FCC as also BSMI ratification.

The pricing and availability details of Kingmax’s newest Class 10 SDHC cards haven’t received a clear mention for now.
