Buffalo Technology unfurls portable HDD MiniStation HD-PET series
Buffalo Technology brings to the forefront a brand new storage solution. The company unveils into the Indian markets the lightweight USB2.0 portable HDD MiniStation HD-PET series. This new offering comes complete with TurboPC and TurboCopy for double standard transfer speeds.
The portable HDD can be seen drenched in five distinct colors namely Ruby red, Crystal black, Pearl white, Rapis blue and Cherry Blossom pink with a glossy finish. The USB 2.0 portable HDD even has the ability to support eco manager for lower power consumption. The disk stops rotating when not accessed for a particular amount of time which helps reduce unnecessary battery use. There is also data backup software and encryption Software included into the device.
“Available in 3 capacities (320GB, 500GB and 640GB) this portable HDD (HD-PET) series is a stylish, compact, ecological & secure way of data storage and data transfer,” stated Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo Technology.
The High speed portable HDD also offers TurboPC and TurboCopy software. The former increases speed by utilizing the PC memory to heighten reading and writing to the HDD. It also increases the overall speed performance of the PC. The TurboCopy is noted to speed up the standard Windows copying function.
The MiniStation HD-PET320U2 (320GB), MiniStation HD-PET500U2 (500GB) and MiniStation HD-PET640U2 (640GB) are priced at Rs. 8400, Rs. 12000 and Rs. 20000 respectively.
