Iomega launches Four-Drive NAS Appliance

Iomega StorCenter ix4 200d Iomega has officially declared Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d, its highly advanced quad-drive desktop NAS appliance. The StorCenter ix4-200d is based on the leading storage technologies which come at affordable prices. The device delivers up to 8TB of networked storage assisting in easy integration with present infrastructure for aggrandizing storage capacity, file-sharing and back-up of important business data.

This high-performance four-drive NAS device offers block-level access for complete utilization of its storage capability. It also comes with device-to-device replication to network targets for business continuity and file recovery. Users will be allowed for remote access where they can remotely manage and access data on the ix4-200d from any place. It also offers adequate time machine support where Apple consumers can backup any Mac computer running on OS X (10.5 or later) using Time Machine.
