Active Media Products unveils Predator GT SATA-II SSDs
Active Media Products has introduced its new Predator GT SATA-II SSDs. These 2.5-inch SSDs are available in 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. They can sustain exceptionally fast data transfer speeds. The bundled up Flex-fit adapter bracket makes mounting 3.5-inch drive bays possible.
The new 8-channel controller perfectly complements the 128MB SDRAM cache to provide exceptional data transfer speeds. The 128GB model is capable of providing sequential write speeds up to 200MB/sec while the 64GB drive delivers sequential write speeds up to 120MB/sec. Both these models feature a similar read speed of 220MB/s.
“Predator GT SSDs are one of the best possible ways to upgrade your desktop PC because not only do they deliver more punch to your system than most CPU or memory upgrades, they also come with the 3.5-inch mounting hardware to easily fit into your case”, said Jerry Thomson, vice president of marketing at Active Media Products.
The drives flaunt a 0.1ms access time. To ease laptop upgrades, the Predator is encased in a brushed aluminum chassis. The chassis makes the drive physically compatible with laptops. The 3.5-inch Flex-fit bracket further simplifies the mounting of these drives in a standard desktop drive bay.
The Predator GT is presently available via Amazon and other online resellers. The 64GB SSD is priced at $199.95 (approx. Rs.9,685) while the 128GB model costs $369.95 (approx. Rs.17,920).
