Active Media Products uncloaks 2.5” Predator-X7 SATA SSDs
With a hardcore objective to keep users off a brooding disquietude about storage capacities, Active Media Products has recently unleashed proximate shipmate of a line of Predator-X7 2.5-inch SATA-II 3Gbps Windows 7 compatible SSDs built with the latest Jmicron JM612 controller.
Offering users implausible capacities from 32GB to 256GB, Predator X7 SSDs ascertains towering performance. The 8-channel flash controller in conjunction with 128MB of DRAM Cache achieves sequential read speeds up to 230MB/sec and sequential write speeds up to 180MB/sec.
“One big advantage of this controller is its support for a USB 2.0 port, which can be used for cloning the contents of your old hard drive onto the Predator X7. The mini USB port makes installation and setup a lot faster and easier.” explained Active Media Products’ VP of Sales, Jerry Thomson.
Furthermore, entrancing users with its hardware ECC, bad block management and patented wear leveling technology, Predator X7 SSDs promise to deliver accurate storage and data retrieval functionality. In addition, its sophisticated wear leveling algorithms augment the operational life of the drive. Users will discover that upgrading to this device will make any laptop or desktop much more responsive, with bootup, shutdown and application load speeds that are two to five times faster than most hard drives.
Predator X7 SSDs are expected to begin shipping in November at prices starting at $149. These products will be made available across the world from Amazon and other Active Media Products resellers.
