LaCie unveils itsaKey, iamaKey and PassKey USB Key Drives
LaCie has released three new USB key drives, namely itsaKey, iamaKey and PassKey that provide handy portable storage maneuver.
Blending a sturdy metal key design and high-end storage space, the ultra-mobile and lightweight devices boast off a hot-pluggable connection with cross-platform compatibility. All these models support fast and reliable USB 2.0 connectivity to offer transfer rates of up to 30 MB/s. The compact key-shaped drives even work effectively with both PC and Mac computers.
While the itsaKey and iamaKey drives come in 4 GB and 8 GB capacities, the PassKey acts as a microSD card reader to utilize memory cards for content access. The PassKey is also compatible with micro SDHC card, offering versatility.
The iamaKey packs in the Gold SIP connector that offers an ability to withstand water and scratch.
According to Luc Pierart, Business Unit Manager of Peripherals & Accessories, “Following the popularity and usefulness of flash memory today, LaCie has merged the ubiquitous USB interface with a very mobile and convenient form factor, a key that you always carry with you. The LaCie Key products bring an ease-of-use to our customers, making it easy to access, store, and share large amounts of content on-the-go. After all, it’s a Key.”
Developed by the 5.5 Designers firm, the LaCie itsaKey, iamaKey and PassKey USB key drives are available for a starting price of $9.99 (approx. Rs. 520) through the LaCie Online Store or LaCie resellers.
