Transcend brings 600X CompactFlash Card to India
Photographers and DSLR camera users will be thrilled to know that Transcend now offers 600X CompactFlash cards in India. Driven by the Turbo MLC technology, these 600X CF cards offer amazing transfer speeds, around 92MB/s read and 87MB/s write.
Employing the Ultra DMA (UDMA) 6, the Extreme Plus 600X CompactFlash cards run in quad-channel mode. As compared to the 300X CF cards, this latest innovation from Transcend offers double read write speed enhancing file transfer. Owing to the UDMA interface, users can store exceptionally high-resolution image data, enabling them to shoot and record video effortlessly.

The CompactFlash Cards are manufactured using the most advanced Flash controllers and premium quality NAND Flash memory chips. Thus, these cards are robust and ascertain long-life durability and performance.
Equipped with ECC (Error Correction Code), the card automatically senses and corrects errors while transferring data. The Transcend device also makes use of a refined wear-leveling algorithm that brings about steady, long-life operation.
Users can also share their art with their friends, family and others. The device measures 42.8mm x 36.4mm x 3.3mm and weighs around 11.4 grams. These cards are comprehensively tested for compatibility, speed and reliability and are available in 8GB and 16GB variants.
The 600X CompactFlash Card is backed by a 2-year warranty and comes with a price tag of Rs. 8000 for the 8GB model and Rs. 16000 for the 16GB model.
