LaCinema high definition Rugged HD now available
LaCinema revealed that its LaCinema Rugged multimedia hard drive is now available in High Definition as LaCinema Rugged HD. The LaCinema series presents extremely compact, steadfast and mobile multimedia players.
The LaCinema Rugged HD, empowered with enhanced HD functionality, is the first multimedia player that facilitates users to save and play High Definition content on any HDTV with full-HD 1080p resolution. The device offers 500GB of built-in storage capacity, thus permitting users to save and watch their desired television shows and movies instantly. Users can also listen to music, and exhibit photo slideshows.

The hard drive is attuned with every HDMI supported display and presents multimedia features to users in their home or while on the move. The device supports Windows and Mac environments. It needs a single USB 2.0 cable, attached to the computer in order to provide trouble free bus-powered multimedia loading. The moment the media content is transferred to the hard drive, it is all set to be viewed on any HDMI connected display. LaCinema Rugged HD supports all familiar digital formats and can store up to 700 movies, 165,000 songs or 165,000 photos.
The hard drive incorporates standard and high-definition video codecs like H.264, MKV, WMV9 and MPEG-4 to offer optimized viewing. The hard drive is built with an exclusive scratch-resistant aluminum shell, internal anti-shock absorbers, and shock-resistant rubber bumper. These features helps in shielding media files against mishaps that occur on a daily basis. The LaCinema Rugged HD presents the ease of a centralized media library featuring enhanced graphic menus, setting features and a user-friendly remote control for navigation.
