A-Data showcases speed of 1 TB SSD with XPG SSD converter at Computex
A-Data demonstrates its high speed of eight S592 SSDs with XPG 3.5-inch converter configure in RAID 0 at the Computex.
These eight SSDs using XPG 3.5” converter offer 825 MB/s read and 1115 MB/s write transfer rate along with 1TB capacity. XPG EX93 3.5” SSD converter is equipped with safety lock mechanism. Hence, users can keep the SSD/hard drive safely in 3.5”drive bay.
S592 SSDs with durable controller design are claimed to provide 40 percent and 60 percent higher read and write speeds respectively, compared to conventional SSDs. It employs special mobile SDRAM for constant read rate of 230MB/sec and write rate of 170MB/sec.
The mobile SDRAM functions as a cache buffer and stores commonly used data. Therefore, the system need not search data from the main storage every time the user needs it.
This SSD is power efficient, lightweight and noiseless. It offers quick data search and prevents overheat. Moreover, it is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage capacities.
