Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault USB Flash Drive boasts FIPS Validation

Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault Lexar today announced the launch of its latest USB storage drive, named JumpDrive Solo Vault. The new driver sports FIPS validated and an advanced 256-bit AES encryption with Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 Level 1 (FIPS 140-2) certified security software.

Consumers will appreciate the transfer speed as well as the tamper-proof data security that provides protective storage of important data, including, documents, movies, music and other file. This device will be a perfect memory drive for organizations working with sensitive materials, such as health care and insurance institutions, government agencies, and banks as well as small- to medium-sized businesses.

Let’s know the important features that make the Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault a standalone USB flash drive. It equips an idle time-out, up to 32-byte password size and a FIPS-approved algorithm for securely deleting files that can never be traced back. Besides, the software is said to be copy-protected that maintains data integrity and protects against unauthorized copy attempts or brute-force attacks. The hacker won’t be able to access the transferred information without a password. And for more protective measures, users can keep resetting their passwords any time, without worrying about data loss.

Tabb Compton, senior enterprise sales manager at Lexar Media, mentioned, “It’s well known that data security continues to be a major concern for both government agencies and the private sector. With its advanced, tested security technologies and high-speed performance, Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault is an ideal solution for the security and value requirements demanded by forward-thinking organizations.”

The drive features transfer speed of 30MB/s minimum sustained read speed capability and 21MB/s minimum sustained write speed capability (for 4 GB configuration) and 24MB/s minimum sustained read speed capability and 18MB/s minimum sustained write speed capability (for 2GB capacity).

This plug-and play storage device needs no administrative rights, no application installation, and no centralized management while storing critical data safely and securely. It has an in-built compression that helps to enhance capacity for consumers to carry up to twice the physical space of the drive.

Unfortunately, the price of the Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault USB drive is not yet known.
