Packed with significant features, the new My Passport Elite from Western Digital is said to continue to offer gigantic storage in a portable device, allowing users to securely carry ample of songs, videos or photos.

The latest USB drive comes in a soft-touch finish for easy grip and comfortable hold. Designed for consumer’s who are constantly on-the-go, the storage device weighs below 5 ounces and can hold up to 320GB and 250GB.

My Passport Elite drives are USB-bus powered and do away with an external power adapter. The capacity gauge assists you to check out how much space is available to store more data. If you want to attach it with a gaming console, plug-and-play function comes to the rescue. Moreover, you can even play music and view movies or photos on a TV with this feature.

WD has also installed powerful automatic backup software that enables consumers to designate files and folders for automatic and continuous backup; and synchronization software, which helps them to sync their changes and protect their information with 128-bit encryption. They can also retrieve forgotten files from any MioNet-enabled computer that supports Windows, and copy them to My Passport Elite with installed MioNet Key software.

Available in four lively colors such as bronze, titanium, Westminster blue and cherry red, the WD My Passport Elite USB drive carries a price tag of Rs.10,350 for 250GB and Rs. 12,150 for 320GB.
