Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi 1.8 Inch Portable Hard Drive Announced

Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi Drive Buffalo Technology has announced the launch of its latest portable hard drive, dubbed the MiniStation Shinobi. It is a lightweight and super-slim external storage device that weighs just 2oz and is only 5mm thick. It comes in two storage variants such as 30 GB and 60 GB.

The robust MiniStation Shinobi sports easy-to-use backup and sync software, mobile applications like Firefox and Thunderbird for on-the-go email and web browsing. The company’s SecureLockMobile software is also included to avoid unauthorized access at the time of misplace or filch.

With an innovative self-contained cable management system, users can take backup of important data in an ultra-slim drive that has the ability to endure the trials and tribulations of the road.

Compatible with Mac and PC, the Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi bundles TurboUSB technology that increase the data transfer rates by 20% as compared to conventional drives. It also packs in Memeo’s AutoBackup and Auto Sync software that ensure secured and automatic management and backup of the digital assets.

Backed by a one-year warranty, the Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi 1.8-inch portable hard drive will reach the market in October. The 30 GB drive retails for $119.99 (approx. Rs. 5,508), whereas the 60 GB device costs $169.99 (approx. Rs. 7,803).
