After the launch of Sansa Clip, today SanDisk unveiled an 8GB model of its Cruzer Micro USB flash drive. The new tiny looking USB drive is 2-inches long and just half an inch wide. Besides, it weighs only half ounce.
8GB capacity means users can store up to 600 ultra-high-resolution digital pictures, 2,000 digital songs or five hours of high-quality home video.
Key features of the SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB drive are:
A U3-compatible software is provided free with Cruzer Micro. The software includes the PC phone service Skype, SanDisk’s own CruzerSync for synchronizing files between a PC and the drive, the password manager program SignupShield Passwords from Protecteer, and a trial version of McAfee anti-virus software.
The Cruzer Micro 8GB is expected to be available globally by mid-September. It will carry a price tag of $129.99 in United States (around Rs. 5,360).
