SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive with 8GB Capacity Announced

After the launch of Sansa Clip, today SanDisk unveiled an 8GB model of its Cruzer Micro USB flash drive. The new tiny looking USB drive is 2-inches long and just half an inch wide. Besides, it weighs only half ounce.

8GB capacity means users can store up to 600 ultra-high-resolution digital pictures, 2,000 digital songs or five hours of high-quality home video.

Key features of the SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB drive are:

  • No cap to lose yet the connector is protected from damage through slide style design when it is not in use
  • Amber colored LED light is illuminated when drive is connected and active
  • U3 Smart Technology that runs applications directly from the drive, without having need to be installed them on the computer
  • A U3-compatible software is provided free with Cruzer Micro. The software includes the PC phone service Skype, SanDisk’s own CruzerSync for synchronizing files between a PC and the drive, the password manager program SignupShield Passwords from Protecteer, and a trial version of McAfee anti-virus software.

    The Cruzer Micro 8GB is expected to be available globally by mid-September. It will carry a price tag of $129.99 in United States (around Rs. 5,360).

      My memory stick is this one !!!! AND IT SNAPPED AND GOT BENT!!!! WAAAAAAHHH!!!! ALL THOSE MEMORYS, ALL THOES MP3`S AND VIDEOS AND PICTURES!!!!! AND EVEN DOWLOADS !!! GONE!!!! if anyone knows or has some advice on how to fix it please email me at mariotwins417@googlemail.com!!!
