Buffalo Expands Capacity of TeraStation Series

Buffalo Technology has announced to extend the capacity of its TeraStation Live (HS-DH4.0TGL/R5) and TeraStation Pro II (TS-H4.0TGL/R5), in India. Both the storage solutions will be now available in 4TB capacity.

Also, the new TeraStation Live and TeraStation Pro II offer transfer rates of up to 35 Mbps. Moreover, they feature five operating modes (i.e. Standard, RAID 0/1/5/10), ensuring security of the data. The advanced RAID features, permit warnings at the time of the system fault, scheduled RAID checks and continuous monitoring of the file system.

The TeraStation Live is mainly designed for home users who need to store and stream multimedia files. Also the solution is equipped with Web Access tool. This tool offers a free online service to users and allows them to access files stored on the TeraStation situated at home via an Internet from anywhere. Moreover, the TeraStation Live also comes along with iTunes 7 support and a DLNA Mediaserver.

While, the TeraStation Pro II is a useful device for small and mid sized offices. High-performance at a low price is the key feature of the device. Moreover the Active Directory integration allows the device to use domain users and groups by working as a client member in an Active Directory domain.

Both of Buffalo’s 4TB devices come with two-year warranty. The TeraStation Live is available at the price of Rs. 97,000 while, the TeraStation Pro II will cost you Rs. 1,55,000.
