Buffalo Launches TurboUSB Drive in India
Buffalo Technologies has announced the availability of TurboUSB in the country. The TurboUSB is a driver that will be bundled with its new re-branded portable hard drives, MiniStation and DriveStation.
The MiniStation with TurboUSB is designed with Shock Resistant technology, to ensure safety of important data stored. Besides, it features Auto-Installation technology and SecureLockWare software.
The DriveStation with TurboUSB is an ideal place to store photos, videos, music or other multimedia files. Like MiniStation, the DriveStation features secureLockWare software that protects vital data in case of loss or theft.
“With the promising benchmarks, this feature allows for faster data transfers over USB. The proprietary TurboUSB feature operates at the controller level to increase data throughput by 16 per cent,” stated Atsuo Shibata, head, operations, India, Buffalo.
Both the MiniStation and DriveStation come with two years warranty. The MiniStation 120GB is available at Rs 8,000 and the DriveStation SATA 320 GB will cost Rs 8,928.
