Transcend 250GB StoreJet SATA Portable Hard Drive launched in India

Transcend 250GB StoreJet SATA Portable Hard Drive Transcend, a worldwide leader in digital storage devices has announced the availability of the high capacity 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable hard drive in the Indian market.

It is a new compact storage solution featuring a high-speed USB 2.0 interface. The StoreJet claims to be offering a transfer rate of 480Mbits per second. The Plug-and-Play feature delivers compatibility with most of the desktops and notebooks.

The 250GB StoreJet is measures 2.5-inch and thus offers portability. It also features “OneTouch” Auto-Backup button.

The new SATA drive comes with Transcend’s own StoreJet elite 2.0 software offering intelligent backup scheduling, security, and power saving functions. Also it is compatible with commonly used operating systems, like Windows2000 / XP / Vista, Mac OS 9.0/OS X, and Linux Kernel 2.4.2, or later.

The 250GB StoreJet also includess:

  • Backwards compatible with USB 1.0/1.1
  • USB powered- no AC/DC adapter needed
  • Bright LED indicates power / data transfer activity
  • Power Management: Enabling StoreJet’s power-saving mode when idle
  • Lightweight contoured aluminum case for easy carrying

    • Transcend’s 250GB StoreJet .5 SATA portable hard drive is available in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 7900 and comes with a warranty of two years.
