Last week Transcend introduced new fingerprint USB flash drives, dubbed JetFlash 220 and the JetFlash V35.

The JetFlash 220 includes a sensor strip that will allow users to access protected data by scanning their fingerprints.

Besides, the JetFlash 220 allows users to access Internet Explorer Favorites on other computers too. Also, it logs in automatically to websites that require user’s login and password (Microsoft Internet Explorer only).

The other features of the JetFlash 220 are AES 256-bit encryption technology, Easy Plug and Play installation and Driverless operation (Windows 2000/XP/Vista). The 220 comes with two years of warranty. The drive is available in capacities of 8GB, 4GB and 2GB.

The other USB drive introduced is the Transcend V35, which measures 58.3mm x 17.3mm x 8.8mm / L x W x D and weighs just 8grams. This drive also features AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Favorites, Secret-Zip, E-mail, DataBackup, Online Update and My JetFlash. The JetFlash V35 supports Windows 2000/Me/XP/Vista, Mac OS 9.0 and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later.

The V35 comes in capacities of 8GB, 4GB, 2GB and 1GB and will be available with a lifetime warranty.
