HTC Ville image leaked, tagged as company’s thinnest handset

Speculations regarding a certain HTC Ville handset have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The only development in this scenario happens to be a leaked image of the device. First up, it is expected to sport a sleek form factor with its thickness measuring a mere 8mm. If and when this handset does hit shelves in techville, then it might just be the thinnest handset coming out of the company’s stable.
Moreover, the Ville may be running Ice Cream Sandwich and could boast of a 4.0 HTC Sense UI. Reportedly, it will house a 1.5GHz Snapdragon Series 4 processor with two cores and may wear a Super AMOLED display measuring 4.3 inches and possessing qHD resolution. A post on PocketNow shares that the handset will be complete with Beats technology that most of the latest HTC devices have come to incorporate. This brings to mind the HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio that arrived in India just recently.
Coming back to the Ville, its rear panel is said to be incorporated with an 8MP snapper delivering capabilities of 1080p video recordings. As for the sensor, it may be very much be similar to the ones that the latest HTC smartphones have come to integrate. What doesn’t fit is that the image shows the smartphone integrated with soft buttons and since its running Ice Cream Sandwich it wouldn’t require that. Then again, for all we know, this may not be the final design of the handset.
Apparently, the HTC Ville will be making its presence felt at the Mobile World Congress which may be held during mid-February. The smartphone could become available by April 2012 to potential users.
