HTC Zeta to bring 2.5GHz quad core CPU with Ice Cream Sandwich treat?

The rumor circles are rife with speculations of the HTC Zeta smartphone that will apparently arrive with a 2.5GHz quad core processor. And if this doesn’t make it sound like a mean machine, it may even be running Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset is also speculated to be embedded with a 4.5-inch 720p HD display.
A post on Engadget throws light on the handset’s specifications that supposedly read a 109.8mm x 60.9mm x 9.8mm profile with a chassis that’s curved on the sides. Tipping the scale at 5.15 ounces, the device may incorporate a 1,830mAh battery to provide juice for the quad core setup that is backed by 1GB. Additionally, the embedded Snapdragon APQ8064 chip would proffer more than just enhanced speeds on the handset.
As for the snapper, it could integrate an 8MP rear camera complete with dual LED flash and 1080p video capturing capabilities. The front panel may have a 1.3MP camera for video conferences and chats. This HTC offering will apparently come with Beats Audio and the HTC Sense user interface that most probably should be the 4.0 version. The internal storage is plenty at 32GB to hoard multimedia files and there is Bluetooth 4.0 to offer connectivity.
There is no word on the HTC Zeta price and availability details. But whether the handset surfaces with a 2.5GHz quad core processor and Ice Cream Sandwich, only remain to be seen in time. Going by that old adage about there being no smoke without fire, HTC fans may probably want to keep a watch out for further updates on this smartphone, especially when something as tangible as leaked photos are available.
