DealExtreme vending Aigo 3D MP5 player
Viewing 3D entertainment is normally restricted to 3D glasses and high-power graphics technology. At the same time, 3D is expected to hit the mainstream market in portable form factors like the View D from Spice Mobiles. DealExtreme is now selling the Aigo 3D MP5 player PM5950 which is touted to be a naked eye 3D portable gizmo.
In other words, it appears that there’s no need to wear 3D glasses while viewing content stored on the player. This is just the first among Aigo products which can be expected to hit DealExtreme according to the announcement. The latter has cut deals with names like eBay and PayPal in order to bring all sorts of products including gadgets right to a large number of web users.
The technical specifications concerning the Aigo 3D MP5 player are rather sketchy. All we know is that the device has a high-resolution LCD screen gracing the exterior. What’s more entertainment content stored on the player can be viewed in 2D or optionally, 3D mode.
