GoGear Connect MP4 Player

Just when entertainment enthusiasts started using their smartphones for playing high-quality songs and videos as well as surfing the web, Philips decided to come up with a competent music player. The company has just bounced back with an Android-powered MP4 player, the GoGear Connect.

Users can seamlessly surf the web with the 3.2-inch touchscreen and utilize pre-installed Google Mobile applications. The Android experience can be enjoyed with the download of more than 1,00,000 apps from the Android Market. The patented FullSound technology ensures an exceptional music performance to its users.

Location-based services, maps, and more can be accessed with the help of the GoGear Connect’s built-in Wi-Fi. The sound isolation earphones of the device eliminate background noise, thus producing acoustic audio. Syncing music from the PC becomes easy with the Philips Songbird program.

Photography zealots can capture umpteen pictures and shoot videos with the integrated camera of the player. This highly portable device weighs just 128g and measures 113mm x 12.6mm ×59mm. Apart from this, a theater-like experience is delivered by the company’s FullSound technology and Surround for Movies.

The Philips GoGear Connect costs €249 (approx Rs. 14,924) for the 16GB version and is anticipated to be available in Western Europe, USA and China from the end of October.
