Microsoft Zune HD all set to debut?

Unlike Apple iPods, Microsoft Zune MP3 player hasn’t experienced that much of popularity and fan-following. Yet, the company seems to be in full swing to raise the curtains off the all new version of Zune, called the Microsoft Zune HD.

Based entirely upon a leaked marketing graphics from Microsoft, the forthcoming portable media player, apparently called the Microsoft Zune HD, is on its way to the market, according to Engadget.

After a glance of the Zune 4th generation, it seems to be somewhat similar to Apple’s iTouch.

Slashgear says that the upcoming Zune HD might have a touchscreen display with an embedded button below the screen and a few similar features to the current iPod Touch. Other speculated specs include an accelerometer, a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Nvidia chipsets.

Being tagged as HD, it would support 720p video and advanced 3D effects. However, there are several unanswered factors to the rumored PMP.

Apart from that, it is believed that the Microsoft Zune HD will hit the markets in the fall period of 2009.
