Sony MDR-XB headphones deliver ‘real’ and ‘deep’ bass

The newly unveiled Sony MDR-XB headphone range is here with claims of offering ‘real’ and ‘deep’ bass performance. The audio peripheral is expected to drag along an Advanced Vibe Structure that has been tailored to render thumpy and appropriate bass sounds.

This new generation audio gear dons a smooth swivel and foldaway action so that it can be conveniently stashed and ported around. This headphone lineup comprises of the MDR-XB800, MDR-XB400, MDR-XB200, MDR-XB30EX and MDR-XB600. Leaving aside the XB200 that houses a stereo mini plug, all others are equipped with a gold-plated stereo mini plug.

First off, the MDR-XB800 is a closed dynamic kind of audio gear with 3000mW capacity and features a frequency between 3Hz and 28,000Hz. It tips the scales at 290 grams and is convenient to port around. The second to enter is the MDR-XB600 which is again a closed and dynamic type of accessory that carries a frequency between 4Hz and 24,000Hz.

The MDR-XB400 holds on to 1000mW capacity and drags along a frequency between 5Hz and 22,000Hz. As for the MDR-XB200, it features the same frequency as the last mentioned peripheral and entails ferrite drivers unlike the rest of the range that features neodymium drivers. The last to receive a mention is the MDR-XB30EX that has a frequency from 4Hz to 24,000Hz. It is accompanied with a carrying pouch and weighs merely 8 grams that’s the least in the series.

For now, the Sony MDR-XB price details are not clear.
