Vizio VBR100 Blu-ray player and VSB210WS HD Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer Unveiled
Vizio rolls out two new accessories products, namely the VSB210WS Sound Bar systems with subwoofer and VBR100 Blu-ray player.
The VSB210WS Sound bar and Wireless Subwoofer features four 3-inch mid/bass drivers and a dual 3/4-inch high performance aluminum dome neodymium tweeter, ensuring a high performance surround sound experience. It also comes equipped with SRS TruSurround and SRS Labs’ TruVolume that further enhances the audio performance by minimizing extreme volume fluctuations.
The elegant piano black VSB210WS also incorporates a hybrid tabletop stand and wall mount bracket for the ultimate installation flexibility.
As for the advanced 2.4GHz wireless subwoofer, its features include a long throw 6.5-inch woofer for bass response ranging from 35Hz up to 80Hz and Auto Sync function for wireless connection with the Sound Bar. A single cable is also available to hook any flat panel TV with the Sound Bar.
The Vizio VSB210WS Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer carries a price tag of $349.99 (approx. Rs. 17,170) and will be available in February 2009. Vizio will also offer the sound bar without a subwoofer (VSB210) for $199.99 (approx. Rs. 9,810) in April 2009.
Coming to next device, the Vizio VBR100 Blu-ray Player attributes include a 108MHz/11-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for 1080p video playback that matches home theater like experience. It also features support with selectable 720p/1080i/1080p video upconversion to deliver standard definition DVD discs (HDMI output only).
Ithers other features include a 24-bit/192kHz audio Digital to Analog Converter, built-in audio decoding for uncompressed audio formats that include Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and multi-channel PCM. Moreover, it is compatible with other surround codecs (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS).
The super-slim Blu-ray player shows compatibility with not only Blu-ray discs and BD-Live content but also with standard definition DVD-Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD, audio CD-R and CD-RW, plus MP3 CDs.
Additional highlight of the VBR100 player includes 7.1 channel analog audio, coax and optical digital audio and analog stereo (RCA).
The Vizio VBR100 Blu-ray Player, which comes packed with a remote control, can be purchased for $199.99 (approx Rs. 9,810) by April 2009.
