Claiming to be the world’s first waterproof and shockproof MP3 player, the Soundwave audio device from Freestyle Audio has made its presence in the market.

The player works under water till ten feet.

In addition to waterproof and shock-resistant design, the Soundwave MP3 features up to 2 GB of flash memory, FM radio tuner with channel presets, equalizer presets, an integrated color OLED screen to display track details and support for MP3, WMA, and DRM protected files. It also offers a standard jack to listen to music either through available waterproof earbuds or other headphones.

Freestyle Audio also bundles an armstrap with the audio device to hold it while taking part in a variety activities.

Supporting Windows and Mac platforms, the Soundwave MP3 player can be connected to a computer through an included USB cable for transferring files. With the internal rechargeable battery, the Soundwave provide a working period of up to 18 hours on a single charge.

The Soundwave waterproof MP3 player is available for a suggested price of $90 (approx. Rs. 4,380) in blue and $100 (approx. Rs. 4,867) in camouflage color shades.
