Wireless Sanyo Internet Radio R227 Unveiled
Sanyo launches its Internet Radio R227 with built-in WIFI that playbacks thousands of free internet radio stations and podcasts without the need of a computer. All that is required is an internet connection.
Presented in dimensions of 8.66 x 5.63 x 4.92-inches (W x H x D), the Sanyo R227 can play music that can be effortlessly sorted by Country or Genre. It features eight internet station presets and an FM stereo digital tuner with eight station presets.
It also supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AIFF, RM and WAV formats.
Moreover, the computer-free internet radio comes embedded with an easy “On/Off” button to immediately access a wide range of songs. It also sports wake-to-internet or FM radio, stereo audio with high-quality 90 mm dual speakers, lighted LCD display, stereo input jack to hook MP3/WMA players, and compatibility with station’s web stream to improve AM reception.
The Sanyo Internet Radio R227 comes with price tags of MSRP of $219.99 approx. Rs. 10,700).
It will be available for purchase in the US by January 2009.
