D-Link DSM-750 MediaLounge Media Player Introduced at Digital Life

D-Link has unveiled its new Media Lounge Media Player, called the DSM-750 at the Digital Life.
Developed to operate as an Extender for Windows Media Center from Microsoft, the device delivers high-speed, uninterrupted wireless streaming and sharing of High-Definition and standard definition video, movies, digital photos and music. Moreover, you can enjoy it anywhere in the home, regardless of where the PC is located.
Featuring the award-winning dual-band draft Wireless N technology for the fastest Wi-Fi performance in the market, the latest product from D-link is able to wirelessly stream HD video.
Daniel Kelley, director of marketing of D-Link Systems, Inc. said “The DSM-750 is our most powerful media player yet. Microsoft’s Extender for Windows Media Center changes the way we navigate and view the Internet, offering more than 21 content providers — including sports, movies and other entertainment. When paired with our DSM-750, it offers consumers the ultimate experience in digital home entertainment.”
Features of D-Link’s DSM-750 MediaLounge player:
With the Windows Media Center, users can watch a recorded TV show at one place while someone else uses the PC. Moreover, up to five media players can be utilized to extend Microsoft Media Center simultaneously from the same PC to enjoy music in the kitchen, a photo slideshow in the bedroom, etc. Along with Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate (for the Extender for Windows Media Center), the player also runs on standard Microsoft Windows Vista and XP computers through Microsoft’s Windows Media Player 11 or Windows Media Connect and other Universal Plug and Play (UpnP) media servers.
The D-link DSM-750 MediaLounge player will be available in November 2007 at the suggested retail price of $349.99 (approx. Rs. 14,000).
