Dual Electronics has introduced two automotive entertainment head units called the XHD6425 and XHD6420, which feature next-generation HD radio capabilities.
This HD head unit enables the user to access a free-subscription of HD Radio-specific content with the simplicity of commonplace CD head units and without the need for a separate module.
The two devices, which include AM FM, CD, and HD Radio built-in, sport HD Radio reception for the stations to broadcast up to 3 FM stations on a single frequency that delivers CD-like audio quality.
Both the HD head units feature seek and scan functions that helps the user to check station selections, and a separate HD Radio-only seek function is provided for the user’s convenience.
Dual Electronics provides thirty presets that can be applied to HD radio multicasts with standard FM and AM stations. These devices also show station, track, artist, and related information.
The XHD6425 comes with optional Bluetooth connectivity that enables the user to communicate hands-free with most Bluetooth-enabled cell phones. The XHD6425 carries a front-panel, full-speed USB connection.
The XHD6425 and XHD6420 comes included with full complement of audio and convenience features such as MP3 and WMA disc playback, high-speed audible track search, electronic detachable face plates and 30 station HD/AM/FM presets and many more.

You will also find a 3.5mm auxiliary input on the front panel with two preamp outputs for added installation flexibility and a remote control for safety and convenience.
Dual Electronics’ XHD6425 and XHD6420 HD/FM/AM/CD head units are expected to start its shipment in mid-September for $150 each (approx. Rs. 6000).
