Microsoft enhances new Second Generation Zune Players
A month back, Microsoft had announced the launch of the 2nd generation Zune Players. At that time, Microsoft mentioned that the Wi-Fi Sync feature will be accessible only in November 2007.
Recently, the company has announced that they introduced some updates of the 2nd generation Zune player. This new players includes 80GB Hard-disk Zune with 4GB and 8GB flash Zune players. And the Wi-Fi sync enables the owner to set their Zune players to automatically sync with music and video libraries through home network, provided it is docked or charged with an AC adapter.
You can also enjoy more than 3 million music tracks, podcasts, videos and DRM-free MP3s with the Zunes.
The company has also revealed that they have come up with new initiative for the consumers to customize their Zune players and engrave designed done by contemporary artists on the back of the Zune players for free.
Furthermore, with the help of 20 smaller graphic designs that has been inspired by classic tattoo, art, living room, user can engrave three line of text. And for those users who dont want any design, they can engrave around five lines of text. This service is free for a limited period of time and is available through Zune website only.
Amongst the Zune Originals is work from 18 artists including illustrators Catalina Estrada of Spain, Skwak of France and Nobumasa Takahashi of Japan.
If you look at the design, you will notice that the intricate designs take up most of the metallic back surface of the players.
