Microsoft to release Zune 2.0 Next Month?

Zune Logo After new iPod versions, Zune fans are waiting for the upgradation of Microsoft’s portable media player (PMP). Rumors are buzzing that Microsoft is planning to introduce Zune 2.0.

According to Gizmodo.com, Microsoft will reveal two models namely Zune 2 and Zune Flash. Zune 2 will have 80GB of memory, while the Zune Flash will come in two capacities of 4GB and 8GB.

Also Gizmodo suspects that the new Zune players will be equipped with touchscreen displays.

On the other hand, PMPToday.com says that Zune’s new version will be released on October 16th 2007. However the news is not confirmed yet. If the release news is not wrong, Zune fans have to wait just one month more to see the new device.
